Synology to backblaze6/14/2023 ![]() All was going well until I realized that my cloud backup provider (Backblaze) doesn't support backups from network drives unless you upgrade your subscription to a metered one that would be 10X the cost for my current amount of data (14TB). ![]() Then you will have to select the v4 version and then you will only have to put the data that the new key gives you, and this way when you go to click to choose the bucket instead of getting any error you will get two options "Create a new bucket" or the bucket that you have created previously. I'm in the process of moving from a direct-attached array to a 10Gbe Asustor NAS. ![]() Once in here you will have to choose in the first option " Custom Server URL" and then in "Server Address" you will have to put the endpoint that you get in the bucket created earlier. Enter Cloud Sync and here instead of selecting BackBlaze directly as I would normally I have selected S3 storage. The next thing is to create a new key and log into your synology NAS. If you have a bucket that its all in lowercase you can use it. The first thing we have done is, log into our backblaze account and create a new bucket with the name all lowercase, important this. We have solved this in the following way: I am using the DS1618+ model, and when we wanted to select the bucket to do the cloud sync I got an authorisation error. The solutions given here didn't work to me. ![]()
